It has to be on the very very short list-if not #1 It is worse than Seasons In The Sun .
This and ‘My Eyes Adored You’ are in their own league, imo.
It was a cool song when I was eight years old. It makes me cringe, now.
I’d listen to Happy Together by the Turtles before I’d listen to this again. And I HATE Happy together.
Man do I love this song! I have had a buddy who had his own band way back, he was an Otis Redding, old Stones guy. Soul man. He would sing this song and break me up. He had a voice like Tom Waits/ Captain Beefheart/Howlin Wolf. I can still hear him.
