I am surprised to see that “Funk #49” wasn’t a Top 40 hit. The James Gang was a rock band from Cleveland- and they said nothing good ever came out of Cleveland! Just kidding- I like Cleveland. They had 4 Hot 100 Singles none made the Top 40- this was their most well known song. Of course it’s use in commercials over the years has helped. One of those singles that should have been a big hit.
