A September of Demento- “St. George And The Dragonet”- Stan Freberg. Stan Freberg was a favorite on the Dr. Demento Show. Born in 1926 in Pasadena, California- Freberg had a successful career as an author, actor, artist, voice artist, comedian, radio personality, puppeteer and advertising creative director. “St. George and The Dragonet” from 1953 was his biggest hit- going all the way to #1.

A Freberg classic! Such great voice talent with him. June Foray and Daws Butler were perfect with Stan. No wonder he had them on his radio show too! Every Christmas I still listen to Christmas Dragnet!
