“Dark Lady” a murder ballad- was the third of four #1 hits by Cher- her first two were “Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves” 1971, “Half Breed” 1973, after “Dark Lady” it would be twenty-five years before she had her fourth #1 “Believe” in 1998. Of her four #1’s I think this is the weakest.
And really, Stevie got all the bad press for being a witch!
IDK…I kinda like it. LOL! I can’t stand her but, I like the song.
