Brenda & The Tabulations were an R&B vocal group from Philadelphia. They had from 1967-71 11 Hot 100 singles with 2 making the Top 40. Their biggest hit “Dry Your Eyes” #20 1967. The go-to version of this song “Don’t Make Me Over”- Dionne Warwick’s 1962 version which went to #21.
Ack! Those backup singers are horrible! Her voice sounds OK, but this song needs female backup singers.
