The Poppy Family a pop band out of Canada- was led by Susan and Terry Jacks- THE Terry Jacks who gave us “Season’s In The Sun” a few years later. They had 5 Hot 100 singles with 2 making the Top 40- in 1970-71.
Wow- didn’t know the poppy Family got any love down here! I remember them well from my childhood up north. I like this song… far better than Terry’s solo dirge/smash
