30 Day Song Challenge: A Song You Want To Share: “Rollin’ Stone”- Muddy Waters. This song- inspired the name of a great Rock and Roll band- The Rolling Stones and the name of a once great and now pitiful magazine- Rolling Stone. “Rollin’ Stone” was one of the first songs Muddy Waters -born McKinley Morganfield- learned how to play and it would be the first record that Muddy Waters had released on Chess Records. While it sold 70,000 copies it didn’t make the charts- but it did well enough where Muddy was able to quit his day job.

“The man who invented electricity”. I stole that but I love it.
