With Bob Dylan releasing an excellent new album- at the age of 79- here is an article ranking all of his studio albums. I don’t of course agree with all of the selections but ranking albums is always interesting. This is from The Daily Beast. I am thinking its time to listen to all the stereo albums and coming up with my own rankings here soon.

A thousand Dylan fans would have a thousand different rankings. I’ve had it on my list of posts to attempt for some time now.
I think your right I know of a few who have Street Legal as their all time favorite.
With close to 40 studio albums, you got your work cut out! š
Ranking them is impossible but I am going to give it a shot!
If anyone I know can do it, I feel it’s you! š
Thanks for the vote of confidence- it will be fun- He’s my second favorite- of course miles behind The Beatles but my second favorite.
I’m looking forward to your ranking Hans. I will say Infidels is one of my favorite Dylan albums. Not up there with his sixties output or Blood on the Tracks but really good.
I also love Infidels! .. Off Topic- We left for Gettysburg yesterday on the way over stopped at my favorite used book store and they have used records too- looking through their large $1 bin I hadn’t said it to Nicole but I was hoping to find one album—and I hear Nicole go “look what I found”- what did she come up with?- it is what I was wanting to find [a hint}
I am racking my brain…I was at a stoplight when I when my phone beeped and I read this…With your hint my mind keeps going to “still haven’t found what I was looking for” lol…that is not it.
The Osmonds- Crazy Horses album- for $1!!!
LOL…that is golden! My sister would be proud.
I now own an Osmonds album has to be their best since they only had that one great song!
