RANKING THE BILLBOARD #1 HITS -1969

Rolling Stones Honky Tonk Women UK sheet music (617654) SHEET MUSIC

Ranking The Billboard #1 Hits- 1969.

1969 was an outstanding year for music but the singles which reached #1 in 1969- overall not the strongest year- I’d take the #1 hits from 1964-68 years over 1969- but there were a handful of classics among the 16 #1 hits from 1969. Note- an oddity while those other years were better with #1-‘s there are no #1’s from 1969 that I really dislike at all.

  • 16. “Love Theme From Romeo and Juliet”- Henry Mancini
  • 15. “Sugar, Sugar”- The Archies
