Henry Mancini’s only Top 10 hit- this instrumental was arranged by Henry Mancini for the movie Romeo And Juliet and ended up being the top Billboard hit for 1969. As far as the movie goes- they tried to get Paul McCartney to play Romeo but he turned it down. The movie was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture.
