I happened to see this book talk Saturday afternoon on C-Span. I hadn’t been aware of this book – ’67 Shots: Kent State and the End of American Innocence”- but after watching this presentation I had to order the book.

Thanks Hans…I watched the video…I wanna read that book.
How would an M1 be good for any crowd control? They only have one purpose. I can’t take up for people throwing rocks but there is no way to justify shooting someone.
I never heard about the sniper theory.
Everything seemed to be mishandled- a perfect storm for disaster.
I wonder if Gerald Ford considered this bloody incident before pardoning him.
I think Ford just wanted him forgotten as soon as possible!
