James Brown- “The Hardest Working Man In Showbiz”, “The Godfather Of Soul” is the #1 singles artist ever on the soul chart. In the late 60’s early 70’s he was flying high on the pop singles chart-this was his 3rd of 5 Hot 100 singles in 1970- with 4 making the Top 40. James Brown was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 1986.
I can literally see James Brown on that stage before my eyes. The man was such an intense performer!
he would have been someone to see live in his prime! I can’t even imagine!
Same here. Having seen James Brown at the Apollo in New York City would have been priceless!
To be able to go back in the time machine!
