- The Expo’70 World’s Fair opened on this date in Suita, Japan- a suburb of Osaka. The World’s Fair lasted from March 15 to September 13th. It attracted over 64,000,000 visitors. The 2020 World’s Fair is scheduled for October in Dubai.

Interesting monster sculpture there. I wonder what it is supposed to be? Nothing like making it in a location in 2020 only rich people can afford to visit!
I wonder if the upcoming one will be cancelled, too.
I would have to think it will be.. Seems like at one time the World’s Fair was a big deal…no longer.
