Sweet Soul Music Of The 70’s- “Crumbs Off The Table”-The Glass House.

The Glass House was an R&B group from Detroit. After the songwriting team of Holland-Dozier- Holland left Motown and formed their own company with Invictus Records- The Glass House was their group of house musicians. The group released two albums- and had no Billboard Top 40 singles- but “Crumbs Off The Table” which reached #59- did go to #7 on the R&B singles chart. One of the members of The Glass House- Scherrie Payne was the sister of Freda Payne- ‘Band Of Gold”- and later joined The Supremes.
