The words of The Declaration of Independence set to music. Both sides of the single ‘A Change Is Gonna Come/ People Gotta Be Free” by the 5th Dimension made the Billboard Hot 100- neither side cracked the Top 40.Ā  Great words but ole Tom Jefferson didn’t write the words with music in mind.

  1. Schoolhouse Rock did a better job with the Preamble to the Constitution…which I can still sing by memory to this day.

    This song might have been better with a faster tempo. Listening, I wanted to nap. Too close to a lullaby. šŸ˜‘šŸ˜ŒšŸ˜”šŸ˜“šŸ’¤
