I Love The Smell Of Punk In The Morning- “Los Angeles” X.
The American punk rock band X was formed in Los Angeles. Their debut album- named Los Angeles was released on April 26, 1980. The album was produced by former Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek. All Music has written that the album- “is considered by many to be one of punk’s all-time finest recordings, and with good reason.” The original album featured eight songs written by the band – and a cover of The Door’s “Soul Kitchen.’ One of the highlights of the album- is the title track “Los Angeles.” I was X in concert once- the loudest concert I’ve ever attended. A week later my ears were still ringing. X released seven albums from 1980-93.
