The Grass Roots a pop rock band formed in Los Angeles had 21 Hot 100 hits from 1966-75 with 14 of them making the Top 40. Their biggest hit “Midnight Confessions” #5 in 1968. In 1970 The Grass Roots would have 4 Hot 100 and 2 Top 40 singles. Creed Bratton a guitarist in the band would later be an actor in the U.S. version of The Office.
That’s a nice one. I don’t recall hearing it before.
