The Tymes were an R&B vocal group from Philadelphia. They were first called The Latineers. The Tymes had been around awhile before they ever recorded- “So Much In Love’ was the first song that they ever recorded. From 1963-76 they had ten Hot 100 singles with 4 reaching the Top 40. Their second biggest hit came later in 1963 “Wonderful! Wonderful!”

“So Much In Love” was a song that the early Talking Heads played on their set lists. Timothy B. Schmit of The Eagles recorded it and his version was on the Fast Times At Ridgemont High soundtrack and as a single peaked at #59. All-4 One had a #5 hit with the song in 1994.
