“Never Had A Dream Come True” was the lead single off of Stevie Wonder’s 12th album Signed, Sealed & Delivered. Wonder had yet to turn twenty years old at the time. While it peaked at #26 on the Billboard chart- in the UK it went to #6. On the US R&B chart #11. This was the first of three Top 40 singles Wonder would have in 1970- the other two were Top 10 hits- “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” #3 and “Heaven Help Us All” #9. Stevie Wonder was a couple years from exploding into superstardom.

  1. It is always shocking to me- that all those great albums he released in the 1970’s began right after he turned 20. His debut album- at age 12.
