- MICHAEL JACKSON: THRILLER: 1982: 5+ STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD. You have have heard of this artist and album- it got a lot of airplay back in the 80’s- well it was all over the radio- seven hit singles on the album and the album sold like Big Mac’s.

- LOU REED: NEW YORK: 1989: 5+ STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: This may not be the best Lou Reed album but it is my favorite. It may not be the best album released in 1989 but it was my favorite- most played album of that year.

- NEIL DIAMOND: GLORY ROAD: 1966-72: 1992: 2 CDS: 4 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: The only problem I have with this double CD compilation is that it has some live versions instead of the original studio recordings- not that many but enough to be annoying. There are now better compilations of Neil Diamond out there-which have the studio versions. Early Neil was the best Neil- he jumped the shark with Babs on “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” in the late 70’s.
The Lou album is a killer.
Although a lot of the topics on the album are dated- the album doesn’t sound dated to me.
Solid album with lots of good tunes for sure. Not as dated as ‘I Almost Cut My Hair’
I’ll be back to drop a few more comments. I didnt get to all the ones that caught my eye.
