The 70’s on 7 replay of American Top 40 this week comes from the week of January 6, 1973. An exceptional week -full of great singles. So many great singles but I’d have to narrow it down to “Superstition” Stevie Wonder or “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone”- The Temptations as the two greatest. 1973 and no Osmonds or Tony Orlando and Dawn!!

I agree with those two and would add Jethro Tull, Steely Dan, and Joni Mitchell. You’re right, it’s a stellar lineup!
It is good to see Chuck in the Charts at this time…a live version…. Also I love that version of Jambalaya by Fogerty.
If it had been the studio version by Chuck I’d have given it an A+.
I wonder if it was from the same place as his inferior number 1?
Off topic…. My cousin is over about to watch the Titans game and they just told Bill Cowher he was in the Hall of Fame…which he should be. The Steelers have many!
I think Troy Palamalu who is first time eligible this year will also go in this year.
Oh man…I loved watching that guy play. He was one of the most aggressive players I ever saw…
He was totally reckless out there. Who knows how many concussions he suffered out there.
He would have fit in with the older Steeler teams… btw…looks like TN could pull an upset off here.
Yes I am excited- I can’t stand the Ravens! Titans really looking good tonight.
