The New Colony Six a soft rock band out of Chicago had 10 Hot 10 singles- 2 of which made the Top 40 from 1966-72- their biggest charting hit was “Things I’d Like To Say” #16 1968. The New Colony Six- like Paul Revere and The Raiders wore colonial outfits in concert. The band disbanded in 1974.
Never heard this one before. It sounds like a cheesy song written as the theme for a cheesy 1970 movie.
