B:side”Let Me Kiss You With A Dream.” Peaked at #35 9 weeks on the chart. 1969 was the year for Oliver- born William Oliver Swofford in NASCAR country- North Wilkesboro, North Carolna. He had two big hits in “Good Morning Starshine” #3 and “Jean” #2. He was 24 ears old. He would only have one Hot 100 hit after “Sunday Mornin’ Grade: C+

604. ” I’ll Hold Out My Hand”- The Clique. White Whale. Rock. Written by Al Gorgoni and Chip Taylor. B-side:”Soul Mates.” Peaked at #45 7 weeks on he chart. A pop-rock band out of Beaumont, Texas- Clique had 3 of their 4 Hot 100 singles in 1969- their biggest being a #22 “Sugar On Sunday.” their only Top 40 hit. Grade: B
