Every Entry Into The Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart- 1969- Part 182. Today’s singles are the final two entries to debut on November 15, 1969- “Curly”- Jimmy Clanton and “St. Louis”- The Easybeats.

595. “Curly”- Jimmy Clanton. Laurie. Vocal. Written by Gary Osborne. B-side:” I’ll Never Forget Your Love.” Peaked at #97 3 weeks on the chart. From 1958-69 Jimmy Clanton put 12 singles into the Hot 100 with 7 making the Top 40. His biggest hit was #4 “Just A Dream” 1958- this one “Curly” was his final Hot 100 single. Grade:C

596. “St. Louis”- The Easybeats. Rare Earth. Rock. Written by Harry Vanda and George Young. B-side:”Can’t Find Love.” The Easybeats a rock quintet from Austrailia had 2 Hot 100 hits- their only Top 40 was #16 “Friday On My Mind” 1967- their guitarist George Young- the older brother of AC/DC’s Angus and Malcolm Young. Grade: B.
