Among the players on the song were Chet Atkins on rhythm guitar and Floyd Cramer on piano. ” A Big Hunk O’ Love” was Elvis’s 12th #1 hit since his first appearance on the chart in early 1956. In the U.K. “A Big Hunk O’ Love” peaked at #4.
