    • Yes I knew there was a version I liked but it wasn’t coming to me- of course Aretha….. off topic what did you think of the recently completed World Series? Why isn’t Verlander getting the grief that Clayton gets?

    • Thank you…Hans we are on the same wavelength with this. You are the only person I know that brought this up. I was telling someone the other day Verlander is 0-6 in the WS.

Great World Series…I was happy for Washington since Houston has already won one. Washington wasn’t taken seriously because of their start but their starting pitching is as good as you can get.

    • It is amazing not only in baseball but some of the other sports- how teams that either have never won or haven’t won in a long time- have won championships.. a good thing.. of course the Patriots will own the NFL as long as Belichick is around…

    • The one team I don’t ever see winning one in our lifetime? The Lions
I saw that Pittsburgh swept Huntington out the door…I thought he survived the firing when they got rid of Hurdle by a vote of confidence…the kiss of death.

    • I think they needed to change- Hurdle, Huntington and team President Coonley all out– of course until the owner sells it will just be moving chairs on the deck..

    • I agree with you…they did need to get rid of Huntington. I thought they would go after “fill in the blank” from Tampa…their payroll must be attractive to Nutting. Boston grabbed one of their guys.

I can’t type his name anymore without thinking of that T-Shirt you told me about lol.

    • I don’t think there will be a change in philosophy- same cheap tactics in Pittsburgh- they are just hoping everything falls in place like it did in 2015…. which is a long shot in my opinion.

    • Good point on Motown- the Supremes -Temptations collaborations that I have heard were better off not done.. Motown can be very hit and miss.
