395. “Commotion”- Creedence Clearwater Revival. Fantasy. Rock. Written by John Fogerty. B-side: to “Green River” which also entered the charts this week- and peaking at #2. “Commotion” peaked at #30 and spent 8 weeks in the Hot 100. Grade: A.

396.”In A Moment”- The Intrigues. Yew. Soul. Written by The Intrigues. B-side:”Scotchman Rock.” An R&B vocal trio from Philadelphia. The Intrigues had 3 Hot 100 singles in their career but this was their only Top 40 hit- peaking at #31 and spending 14 weeks in the Hot 100. Grade:C+

397. “Barabajagal {Love Is Hot}- Donovan. Epic. Rock. Written by Donovan. B-side:”Trudi.” The Jeff Beck Band backed Donovan on this single which peaked at #36 and spent 7 weeks on the chart. It was the 3rd and final 1969 hit for Donovan- and the final Top 40 hit of his career. Grade: B
