The Sounds of Summer- Day 83/95- “The Boys Of Summer”- Don Henley. This time of the year always makes me think of this song- a song on the short list of my favorite 80’s songs. “I feel it in the air, summer’s out of reach.” I hate the F’n Eagles- but I have always liked Don Henley’s solo albums.

The same here. I never grow tired of it. I love it every time. Same with his ‘End of the Innocence’ and ‘The Heart of the Matter’.
We agree on those songs too. Its too bad after the 80’s his solo releases have been so sparse. He’s better as a solo artist- IMO.

I think one has to feel the easy vibes of SoCal to appreciate the Eagles music. It looks like both our teams are in trouble based on recent game happenings. You are without Ben and we have a marquee receiver who detracts from the team’s efforts with egoistic antics.
What a difference a week can make- not that I was that optimistic going into the NE game of a win- but that wasn’t even competitive- and yesterday’s loss even 0-2.. and now without Ben. Looks like a long year. Cleveland tonight on MNF_ looking forward to watching. I think getting – I have to say something everyday controversial to be in the news- Beckham will be a mistake. He needs to shut up and play the game. He’s really done little in his last few years with the Giants.
