• LIKE OMIGOD! THE 80’S POP CULTURE BOX SET: RHINO: DISC 1: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS CD: On a weekend trip- I hadn’t listened to this box set in a few years -so I figured it would make for good listening and it does. The 7 CD box set `42 songs focuses on lesser known artists- which is both a plus and a minus.  A lot of these songs I must say if you hear once a year you are good with that but without the big name acts- and their hits it doesn’t give the best representation of the decade. Also 5 1/2 of the 7 discs focus on 1980-85- with the remaining disc and a half the rest of the decade. I have always liked the first half of the 80’s over the second half.
