Hans Remembers- Three Days in May- May 7, 8, 9- 1969- Not a whole lot was going on but here are a handful of events-

  • Wednesday May 7, 1969- In the ABA- the Oakland Oaks defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the  finals- in overtime 135-131 to win the 2nd ABA Championship 4 games to 1.

  • Friday May 9 in Beatles news- George Harrison’s Electronic Sound album was released- and in the UK so was John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s classic Unfinished Music No. 2. Life With The Lions. In America we had to wait until May 26th for the album to be released. I wouldn’t recommend either of these albums but I will take George’s electronic music over Yoko Ono’s screaming every day of the year.
