  1. So many really good ones. “Love Hurts” reminds me of the bakery I worked at the time. One of the other girls had a crush on my brother, who also worked there, and he was a wild child that didn’t want to be tied down. I remember her showing me a poem she had written to him. Poor girl. “Golden Years” such a kickass song. “Dream On” and “Toys in the Attic” they were so popular then. “Bohemian Rhapsody” was there anyone who *wasn’t* singing it at the top of their lungs? “Good Hearted Woman” was on the jukebox where I hung out at a little bar in the sticks. I think this one was the first hit in a string of Waylon & Willie hits. “Mamas Don’t let your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys” and some others…

    • an interesting top 40- some real turkey’s but some gems also- i guess most weeks are like that… it seems like every week in the 70s Donny and Marie or Donny or The Osmonds were in the 40 and the same with Tony Orlando and Dawn.

  2. Dream On threw me because I thought it was released earlier…I didn’t know they re-released it.

Ah…the obligatory Captain and Tennille and Osmond single.
