The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is -Jigsaw Puzzle. Jigsaw Puzzle was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and finishes up side 1 of Beggars Banquet. Jigsaw Puzzle is at 6:07 nearly as long as Sympathy For The Devil but whereas I never have thought of Sympathy For The Devil was being too long – there is so much going on in that song- Jigsaw Puzzle is about three minutes too long for what is a minor song- one that I would judge as the one clunker on the album. The song is clearly one that falls under the influence of Bob Dylan- who seemed to influence everyone in the 60’s. Opinions seem to vary on Jigsaw Puzzle some think of it as a great song- one of The Stones finest blues-rock songs.  The Rolling Stones have never performed Jigsaw Puzzle live.
