HANS WORST HITS OF THE 90’S– “TWO PRINCES”– SPIN DOCTORS

Hans Worst Hits of the 90s’- “Two Princes”- Spin Doctors.  Thankfully this band came and went in a season or two. Their debut album Pocket Full of Kryptonite- {more like Head Empty of Ideas}went to #3 and went 5X platinum and yielded two hit singles in 1992- Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong #17 and this one-  Two Princes #7. Hard to select which one is worse- flip a coin. No more hits and after the second album they haven’t even hit the Top 200 album chart. They are still around I see- probably gearing up for one of those package tours this summer with other bands of their ilk. I hated both of their songs and wasn’t surprised by their short ride on top.  They actually released a 20th anniversary edition  of Pocket Full Of Kryptonite in 2011. Talk about an unneeded record release. This song did win Spin Doctors a Granny Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group.

  1. Oh, I loved Spin Doctors. Their sarcasm & wit in their songs…loved it. Offspring had the same kind of humor. What a great opening line…”Been a whole lot easier since the bitch left town…” 😆

I miss the early 90s grunge & alt bands. Great music.

  2. Considering the decade, this song doesn’t bother me at all. It does seem to be very much overplayed, but there are far worse 90s songs to have to hear over and over again. I loved a lot of the new music that came out in the 90s; and there was also a lot of really awful stuff.

  3. Yeh, I liked this song when it came out and danced to it many times in my clubbing days with friends. Man, I haven’t heard this in years. Thanks for the memories. Like the earlier comment I miss the early 90’s grunge scene.
