The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is Miss Amanda Jones. Miss Amanda Jones was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and appears on Between The Buttons. Who was Amanda Jones? Speculation is either- Amanda Lear a muse of the artist Salvador Dali- who had a brief affair with Brian Jones or Anita Pallenberg who was first involved with Brian Jones and then later to Keith Richards. This song is kind of a forerunner to the later Rolling Stones sound with Mick and Keith’s voices working together. One of my favorite Between The Buttons songs. I remember the first time I heard it- in the movie Some Kind Of Wonderful.
Below pictures of Amanda Lear- with Dali – and then Anita Pallenberg. Neither aged well. That rock n roll life can get you.

Reading Keith’s autobiography at the moment… Will be at between the buttons before too long… Still in Edith Grove
Love this one. Between the buttons is one of my favourite Stones records. Have you heard this version? https://steveforthedeaf.wordpress.com/2018/05/22/miss-amanda-jones-the-march-violets/
