The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is–Complicated. Complicated is on side 2 of Between The Buttons and was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. A song that was probably about Mick’s new love Marianne Faithfull- who in one word was complicated. Marianne in her memoir said that Mick used to say she talked too much and the things she said were dangerous. She has led an interesting life to say the least. This is one of my favorite songs on Between The Buttons- with the instrumental breaks. Like a lot of Between The Buttons the song doesn’t have the feel of a Rolling Stones type song.
