The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is- Who’s Been Sleeping Here? Written by Jagger and Richards it appears on side 2 of Between The Buttons. A Dylan influenced song- it always reminds me of Goldilocks and The Three Bears when I hear it. In the song the narrator comes home and has the feeling that while he was away-someone had been there seeing his girl. A folk-rock style song- the famous session man Nicky Hopkins appears on piano- and Brian Jones is playing the harmonica. Another song on Between The Buttons which sounds different than the normal Stones song up to that point. Was never released as single or got much airplay- but one of those hidden Stones classics.

  1. Nice tune and certainly not what you typically associate with The Stones.

Unlike The Beatles, I never undertook the effort to listen to all Stones albums from front to back.

From Between The Buttons I only knew the first three tracks. I think Ruby Tuesday would be my favorite out of the three!
