The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is- It’s Not Easy. It’s Not Easy was written by Jagger- Richards and is on The Rolling Stones “Aftermath” album. After earlier songs on Aftermath that were rather negative towards women- “Stupid Girl” and “Under My Thumb” in this one Mick sings about how hard it is to be living on your own without your girl. This song is a revert back to the Chuck Berry styled rock and roll from The Stones earlier days. Keith Richards guitar playing makes this one well worth a listen.
My American copy of “Aftermath” does not have “Out Of Time,” “Take It Or Leave It” or “What To Do” on Side 2 or anywhere! Did you get “Going Home” on the British LP?
