The Rolling Stones Song of the Day is Grown Up Wrong. It is a Jagger-Richards authored song which was on The Rolling Stones No. 2 album. Grown Up Wrong sounds like a perfect title for a Stones song during this era- they were angling for the ‘bad boys’ image in contrast to the image that The Beatles had.  Grown Up Wrong is about a girl who ‘growns up wrong’ because she has grown up and left him behind-so he is done with her. As time went on Mick and Keith were writing more songs- this certainly would never be listed as a Stones ‘classic” but they were getting better as they went along. I think their career would have been very limited in duration and success had they stuck to doing blues covers.
