The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Wild Honey Pie” from The Beatles “The Beatles” album. Written by Paul McCartney it was a spontaneous sing along at the Mararishi’s camp in India. “The White Album” had 30 songs on it, a double album. A favourite game of Beatles fans over the years is- what songs would you pick to be on the album if it were not a double album. “Wild Honey Pie” would surely not be anyone’s pick, I don’t think. Reportedly they put it on the album because George Harrison’s wife Patti really liked it. Paul McCartney: vocals, acoustic guitars and drums. The song was recorded at Abbey Road on November 22,1968. Producer: George Martin.

One of my favorite Paul songs that could have fit on a John album! Great ring tone…a kindred spirit
