- JEFF BUCKLEY: GRACE: 1994: 4 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: The only album released during Buckley’s life. He drowned at the age of 30 in Memphis while recording his second album. His dad Tim died at 28. Jeff’s version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah is considered by most as the go-to version although I myself will go with John Cale’s version. A highly acclaimed album. Buckley had an amazing voice and it looked like his future was very bright.

- THE BEATLES: HELP! 1965: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: The Beatles released 2 albums in 1963, 2 in 1964 and 2 in 1965 -along with a number of singles that were not on the albums. Let’s see Drake do that. I don’t even think I would know a Drake song If I heard one.
listened to six hours of radio today- first caught up on this weeks edition of Celtic Crush with Larry Kirwan which aired on Sunday— and then the three hours of this weeks Neon Beat on Radio George.
The HELP album started the change away from the early Beatles stuff…to me anyway.
