John’s comments on how he wrote the song”Mr. Kite was a straight lift. I had all the words staring me in the face one day when I was looking for a song. It was from this old poster I’d bought in an antique shop.   1. After I bought Sgt Peppers, back in the day, I recorded this track to tape so I could listen to it over and over. The Calliope and overdubs still give me goosebumps.
