The Beatles Song Of The Day is “With A Little Help From My Friends.” John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote this song at Paul’s house on March 29th,1967. What is odd about this is Beatles biographer Hunter Davies watched them as they worked on the song. This was a song they wrote with Ringo in mind and it would turn out along with “Yellow Submarine” to be one of the two most famous Beatles songs that were sung by Ringo Starr. After an afternoon of working on the song John and Paul were ready to present it to Ringo during the recording session in the studio.  It took ten takes in the recording studio to get the song down.
