Today’s American Top 40 replay on the 70’s on 7- The Top 40 from June 17th, 1972. Some great classics- and some real rubbish. I”ll Take You There/ Oh Girl/ Lean On Me/ Layla/ Morning Has Broken/ Tumbling Dice/ I Saw The Light/ Rocket Man/ Look What You’ve Done For Me/ Someday Never Comes/ Hot Rod Lincoln/ Taxi etc.. overshadow the crap like Little Jimmy Osmond, David Cassidy, Donnie Osmond, Wayne Newton- a pretty strong week– would have been near perfect if the Osmond’s parents had never met.
