The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Nowhere Man.” “Nowhere Man” is on The Beatles “Rubber Soul” album.  The song was written by John Lennon. It was the third of John Lennon’s songs that were confessions of his personal inadequacy. John in later interviews would say this was written during his “fat Elvis” period. The Beatles were on top of the world but John wasn’t happy. He seemed cut off from reality, his marriage was falling apart[but he had yet to meet Yoko.} At this point he was sinking into drug use. With the songs on “Rubber Soul” The Beatles were making another great leap forward in the quality of their song writing. ‘Nowhere Man” has always been one of my favourite Beatles songs.
