The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Dizzy Miss Lizzy.” “Dizzy Miss Lizzy” is the last song on The Beatles “Help!” album. The song was written by Larry Williams.  The original was released in 1958. This was a song that The Beatles did in concert in the early years and when they needed a few songs to finish up the album they went into the studio and recorded this. The original and The Beatles version is nothing special. John Lennon:vocal and rhythm guitar/ Paul McCartney: bass guitar and electric piano/George Harrison: double-tracked lead guitar/ Ringo Starr:drums and cowbell. The song was recorded on May 10th, 1965 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.

  1. I suppose The Beatles had better rock & roll covers like “Roll Over Beethoven”, “Rock & Roll Music” or “Long Tally”. I still like “Dizzy Miss Lizzy”. The live version from Hollywood Bowl is cool!
