ALBUMS-

  • THE CLASH: LONDON CALLING: 1979: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: The Clash’s best album- one of my Top 10 albums of all-time. It was released in mid-December 1979- closing in on forty years ago- and there has been no album by anyone released since that is higher on my favorite albums list.

  • VAN MORRISON: VEEDON FLEECE: 1974: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: The closest Van has ever come to another Astral Weeks type -steam of consciousness album. I don’t think I have ever heard any song from this album on the radio- ever. Great album though not a bad cut on it. Like Astral Weeks I remember it took repeated listenings to sink in but once it did it just kept sounding better and better.
