The Beatles Song Of The Day is “A Hard Day’s Night.” “A Hard Day’s Night” is the title track from The Beatles third album which was a soundtrack to their first movie “A Hard Day’s Night” which came out in the summer of 1964. This is a great example of how the John-Paul songwriting rivalry worked in The Beatles favor. Paul had come up with “Can’t Buy Me Love.” When Ringo uttered after an exhausting day of filming the movie that was to be “A Hard Day’s Night”- the line “It’s been a hard days’ night.” Three weeks later John rushed home, wrote the song and The Beatles recorded it the next day.
