The Beatles Song of the Day is “There’s A Place” which is on their debut album “Please Please Me.” It is the next to last song on side 2 of the album. John Lennon: rhythm guitar, harmonica and  vocal/ Paul McCartney: bass guitar and vocal/ George Harrison: lead guitar and backing vocal/ Ringo Starr: drums. “There’s A Place” was written entirely by John Lennon. It was recorded at Abbey Road during the marathon of recording done on February 11th,1963. Producer: George Martin. I would rate “There’s A Place” as the 4th best Beatles original song on “Please Please Me” behind “Please Please Me”, “I Saw Her Standing There”. and “Love Me Do.” I’ve always thought of it as being a twin to The Beach Boys “In My Room” which also came out in 1963.
