I love lists- Rolling Stone Magazine has released their 100 Greatest Country Artists of ALl-Time -list. I am sure a magazine will be out soon if not already. I don’t know what Rolling Stone knows about country music, I don’t know what Rolling Stone knows about rock music anymore. The big mystery to me is how / why the magazine continues publishing. Anyway- back to the point- I love lists. The artists in their top 10 are pretty strong. I applaud them for naming Merle Haggard #1 – I totally agree. Garth Brooks aka The Anti- Hank doesn’t belong anywhere near the Top 100 in my opinion. Anyway. I had to mention Barf. I will give them some credit though for listing Billy Joe Shaver- he is at #65- should be higher but at least he’s mentioned!!!

McGraw- Toby Keith and Brad Paisley have all been pretty big in the last 20 years- and are in the bottom dozen.
