- THE BEATLES: ANTHOLOGY VOLUME 1: 1995: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. The first of three in the anthology series released in the mid-1990’s-from the 1958-1964 period. Featuring the ‘new’ “Free As A Bird” a John demo that the remaining three added to for the project.
- VAN MORRISON: A SENSE OF WONDER: 1985: 3 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS.
- CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL: GREEN RIVER: 1969: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. John Fogerty has said this is his favorite CCR album. Great sounding album sounds like it was made at Sun Studio in the 1950’s. Includes the song for the apocalypse- “Bad Moon Rising.”
- THE BEATLES: 1962-66 [RED ALBUM]: 1973: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: One of the twin towers of Beatles best of. The second and third Beatles albums I owned. I remember my grandfather had those two albums in his record collection and he was born in 1912. When I got those two double albums I figured I had all I needed. How little did I know- I’d have to have them all.
